Executive Appointment Announcement

Director, Addressing and Geospatial Technology, Earl Johnson

VP Enterprise Analytics, Jeffrey Johnson has announced the executive appointment of Earl Johnson as the Director, Addressing and Geospatial Technology (formerly known as the National Customer Support Center). In this role, Earl will manage addressing products and services and will provide the USPS organization critical geospatial services.

Prior to becoming the Director, Earl managed Geospatial Analytics, overseeing a team of Geospatial technical analysts and developers responsible for creating an array of complex visualizations, web services, and commercial geospatial products, while maintaining administrative oversight of all corporate GIS and geospatial-related initiatives, including the ESRI Enterprise License. He established the policy for the management and use of software applications that use GIS or geospatial technologies to ensure consistency and compliance with Postal Service standards.

Earl has completed the USPS Managerial Leadership Program (MLP), Lean Six Sigma certification training and PMP Training. He recently graduated from the Advance Leadership Program (ALP). He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Alcorn State University.

Earl has had an extensive career at the Postal Service in the Addressing and Geospatial Technology organization and brings a wealth of knowledge of USPS commercial addressing products and services. He has driven strategic improvements to enhance the Address Management Database and has been instrumental in enhancing geospatial information which is used to drive operational and organizational efficiencies.
